A Curio Cabinet Filled With Antiques

This is a larger version of the clock and bottle scene from before. A variety of interesting antiques adorn this curio cabinet. A porcelain horse and rabbit, as well as other prescription bottles, can be found here. Unfortunately, most of their labels are too shredded to read. Some maps and wooden crates, including one labeled “Kirkman’s,” are kept on the lowest shelf. Spices like salt and pepper could have been stored in the smaller bottles found in these crates.

Based on the clothing and sewing equipment found in the house, she appears to have been a skilled seamstress. The garment has significant stitching and intricacy, despite being damaged from years of exposure — certainly not the work of a beginner tailor. Perhaps Ms. Carll wore the blouse personally.
