How To Make Sushi Easily At Home

You may think that making sushi in your own kitchen is a long and difficult process, but you’re wrong. Creating your sushi is one of the best things you can start doing. It saves you money from dining out, and the best part is that you can choose exactly what you want inside your rolls. What could be better than your sushi fit to your exact taste buds? You can even make a night out of it and invite all your friends over for Sushi Sundays. This can be particularly helpful to those of you stuck at home during quarantine and missing out on your fav food. We just brought it to you! So try it out and thank us later.

Sushi Rice

The first thing we need to prepare for our sushi is the rice. All you’ll need is regular short white rice, with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Just make sure you prepare ahead of time because it may take longer to cool down before you can add the fish to roll in.

Fillings

This is the part where you get creative. You can choose any fish you want, avocado, cucumber, sweet potato, egg, basically anything you like! You can even throw in some spicy mayo or teriyaki for additional flavor inside. Our personal favorite is some tuna with a dash of spicy mayo, and of course a slice of avocado, viola! D-e-l-c-i-o-u-s!

Tools

When it comes to making the sushi, a rolling bamboo mat will be a life savior. You don’t need any fancy equipment just a roller mat and you will be a pro sushi chef in no time. Go ahead and place a square of seaweed along with the matt, stick the rice to the seaweed, place in what you want inside, and begin rolling.

Key Avice: if you are going to get any takeaway from this article, then we have to tell you that the most important part of your sushi making is the FISH! Go with the fresh stuff, it will change your entire sushi experience
